There is much to do in this area - it's location is within minutes of multiple wineries and estates with wine tasting and tours of the vineyards. The bakery and butcher shop are just across the street. Beautiful towns are within 5 to 10 minute drives. There are three floors, all with beautiful chandeliers and furnishings. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms and a brand new kitchen that welcomes any form of cooking. Farmers Markets are in different locations within 5 - 20 minutes. Definitely a repeat for visitation.

“Treat yourself!”

From the moment you arrive at this beautiful home it’s a treat for the senses. The area is gorgeous, straight out of a story book and just what you would imagine in this wine centered community. This home could not be more elegant, and its every detail is a feast for the eye. Restored by an architect and interior designer every tassel, fabric and tile has been meticulously selected.

It’s the perfect home to share with a bunch of friends for a French countryside get-away. To cook together, relax on the beautiful patio, sip local wines, and make memories.

I highly recommend it.

We loved this area so much we had to come back a second time. Staying at La Roseraie is nothing short of luxurious and magical. Elegantly restored, the owners’ eye for beauty, design, and absolute comfort is evident throughout every room in this charming, well-appointed home. Every detail from beautiful tile and delightfully sumptuous beds to heated bathrooms and gorgeous gardens is masterfully designed to make your stay pleasurable and memorable. The kitchen is a dreamy space perfectly equipped for those who love to cook and functions as a natural gathering space for family and friends. The location is incredible, in the heart of a quaint village on the banks of the Dordogne, walking distance to the post, boulangerie, and a must-experience dining at St. Auberge restaurant to name a few. It’s an easy drive from Bordeaux’s train station and airport and provides a great home base for short trips across southern France. Spoil yourself with a stay at LaRoseraie. We can’t wait to come back!

Lovely house, just as it appears in the pictures. A great place to relax, or from which to investigate the vineyards of Bordeaux. St Emilion is a must, as is the Auberge Saint Jean - excellent Michelin-starred dining only 2 mins walk from the house.

The house is beautiful and well appointed so we didn’t feel the need to dine out all of the time. The pool is a good size. The kids loved it too.
